Welcome to MePirria where each bag is personalized and handmade with quality materials.
Born in Spain as Raquel Rey, I became a professional dancer, which is still a great passion in my life. However, in my free time I love handcrafting for MePirria. I started sewing as a form of meditation and flight of thought.
My inspirations for MePirria stem from different places and cultures well travelled and discovered.
It has made me universal.

Working on MePirria bags, individually, reminds me: „We are UNIQUE“….

Victor Mateos (m.t.s.)

I was born in 1978 in Madrid, Spain. I am the seventh kid of a wonderful family. My first experience with the arts was in 1991 when I started to study ballet in Madrid at the Víctor Ullate School followed by a scholarship in NYC at the
School of American Ballet. For seven years I studied and trained my body in order to express through it. After my formal education I was involved with Víctor Ullate Ballet, Madrid, Zaragoza Ballet, English National Ballet, London, Het Nationale Ballet in Amsterdam, Hamburg Ballet, Dresden Semperoper Ballet, Ballettmainz, guest artist with Jacoby & Pronk and Alonzo King Lines Ballet in San Francisco. In addition to my dancing career, I have always worked in mixed media, in order to develop, for my mind, the same kind of expression I can achieve through dance. At the present I live in Germany, work in a club, teach ballet, and use all my time to learn and do more arts. Life has no meaning if I don’t do arts.
